The origins of Mofford Electric

In 1943 Cliff & Julia Mofford began their electrical contracting business out of the basement of their home.  In the beginning it was Cliff doing the electrical work and Julia on the books while raising their family.  Together they worked hard and built a great reputation for being honest and hardworking.

A growing company

In the early seventies Cliff and Julia retired and their son and his wife, Jerry and Virginia Mofford, began running the company.  Jerry and Virginia built a shop, taking the company out of the basement, and with a lot of hard work, more people were hired and the company continued to grow.  They earned a reputation for taking care of their customers by offering quality workmanship and treating people right.

New crew, same quality service

Today Jerry and Virginia along with their team of other family members and IBEW Local 48 electricians are still providing that high quality of service and workmanship that their customers have come to expect.
